It’s been six weeks since the angels of the apocalypse destroyed the world as we know it. Only pockets of humanity remain.
Savage street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night.
When angels fly away with a helpless girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back…
This book was amazing, i can’t properly describe how much i loved this book!
Penryn has her family of her mother and her sister, that’s more than most now after the angels attacked, however she realises they need to move before the new gangs come looking for any ‘loot’ left behind. On the night of their escape they come across an execution of an angel, by other angels. Penryn stops to try and help the ‘fallen’ angel and succeeds in driving his attackers away, however they snatch her sister as they run. Now she will stop at nothing to get her back, even if that means cooperating with an Angel.
If you haven’t read it yet, go and read it now!
The plot was so well thought through, everything tied in together and everything had a reason for why it happened, i could not put this book down whilst i read it, you just need to know what happens next. I loved both the main characters, Penryn and Raffe, and loved the way they worked together as well as all the quirks that were incorporated into the story.
I can’t say much more without giving something away but if you like reading, you will enjoy this book. If you don’t i don’t understand you 🙂
““My friends call me Wrath,” says Raffe. “My enemies call me Please Have Mercy. What’s your name, soldier boy?””

Thanks for reading,
