Dreamy December Days Read-a-thon: Day 3

dreamy december days

The Hosts are  Always Lost in Books and Books Keep Me Sane and i’ve had a look round their blogs and they both seem really nice so go and check them out!

Today’s Author features about Kate Evangelista can be found over at Books Keep Me Sane and Laura Thalassa over at Always Lost in Books .

Right i’m going to start by saying sorry that this post is a little late! I’ll post Day 4 up later.

My Total book count so far is still 0. This is not going well for me, at all! However i have now finished my presentation and most of the work for the term so i’m planning on some mega reading over the next couple of days!

Now for today’s challenge:

Today’s challenge is about holiday food, is there anything in particular you eat over the holidays or like to eat whilst reading?

Well seeing as my mum is from Sweden, we have more swedish-y christmas foods on the 24th and an english christmas meal on the 25th. So we eats lots and lots, some examples are:

On the 24th

gravlax janssons ham ribs

So from left to right we have: Gravlax, Janssons frestelse, ham and spare ribs. We often have cocktail sausages, lots of bread and bread toppings and others etc.

On the 25th

prawn turkey roast potato Squidgy-Chocolate-Pudding

We seem to have come to a tradition of eating king prawns in garlic butter and melon for the starter, then the typical turkey and stuffing and all the sides for the main. We also often make my Grandma’s secret chocolate pudding recipe and have it with ice cream and cream and it’s all yummy!

What do you have for christmas food? and how is your DDD read a thon going so far?

Thanks for reading,
