End of the Year 2013 Read-a-thon! – Day 1

This is the End of Year 2013 Read-a-thon hosted by Juliababyjen’s Reading Room and Dana Square to try and help you chisel away at your TBR pile until the end of the year. It runs from the 9th December till the 22nd and the aims are:

Why should you participate?
1. To chisel off some of your TBR pile.
2. Do all the fun challenges and win some prizes.
3. Encourage others to read like a speed demon (and yourself) + reading with others is loads of fun.
Today’s challenge is to create TBR list for this Read-a-thon! So i already know i need to get through the 7 books below:
Lichgates by S.M. Boyce
Adrenaline Rush by Cindy M. Hogan
Bold Tricks by Karina Halle
Cursed by Lizzy Ford
After Eden by Helen Douglas
Crash into You by Katie McGarry
Escaping Reality by Lisa Renee Jones
Also i’m taking part in 2 buddy read’s in December for:
Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
However i want to read more than these 9 books over the 2 weeks so i’ve picked 7 slips out of my jar of books to help randomise what i read, the slips were:
Switched by Amanda Hocking
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Sisters in love by Melissa Foster
Teardrop by Lauren Kate
Acid by Emma Pass
Ignite by Kaitlyn Davis
Pawn by Aimee Carter
(I color coded my slips with blue being have the print version, green meaning free e-book and red meaning e-ARC/Netgalley)
So i realise know this is going to be quite a task to undertake, also i need to try and finish some of the paperbacks before i get on a plane next monday to go home, however the plane journey does provide me with some excellent reading time 🙂 Here’s the book cover list of all the books i plan to read:
What are your goals for this week?
If for some strange reason i finish all these books then i will choose others based on what i’m feeling at that time! Hope your Read-a-thons go along nicely 🙂
