1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}

2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers

3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.

4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.

5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed

6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”

7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers

8. If you’re new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Ok so wow, it’s been a while since i’ve done one of these. I really like today’s question though so thought i would give it a shot, also i’m not as busy today as i have been some other Friday’s. Hope everyone’s doing well 🙂

This Week’s Question is:

What books are you looking forward to reading in 2014?

I’ve got so many books that i need to read this year i’m definitely going to give a shortened version of my master list. These are:

1. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

shatter me

I’ve had this book for absolutely ages and have still managed to somehow avoid reading it. I’ve heard enough good things about it that i’m going to have to read it soon.

2. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

daughter of smoke and bone

Same with this book, i’ve had it for ages and somehow not read it yet. I was meant to do a buddy read with this in december but then my buddy never replied so it was left on the side. That won’t be the case this year.

3. Teardrop by Lauren Kate

I won this book from goodreads, however have just had it sitting on my shelf for a good while. I really need to just pick it up and start reading!

4. Cinder by Marissa Meyer

I don’t own this book (yet) but i’ve heard so many good things about it that i think i’m going to give in one day soon.

5. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

tiger lily

Again i don’t own this book, but i’ve been told it’s a good representation of a fairy-tale retelling (which i love) and i definitely need to read this soon!

6. The One by Kiera Cass

the one

I cannot wait for this release. I still need to read The Elite, but i am counting down the days till it’s mine 🙂

7. World After by Susan Ee

world after

I got this book for christmas and have somehow managed to not read it yet. Something is wrong with me and this will be remedied very soon.

8. Hexed by Michelle Krys

This is a debut release coming out this year that i previously featured in a Waiting on Wednesday post. I cannot wait to get my hands on it!

9. The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

the murder complex

Again a debut and Waiting on Wednesday post, but am so excited!

10. Nil by Lynne Matson

The final book on my list is the same as the two above. But i am so looking forward to finding out what will happen on that island!

What are your picks for this year?

Thanks for reading,

  1. I’m so excited about so many of these titles too! The Murder Complex, how did that not end up on my list?! Cinder is definitely a book that I need to read because all of my friends loved it, but somehow I skipped it.

Thanks for the follow, I’m now following you on Bloglovin!

  2. I’ve read most of those books (besides the ones that haven’t released yet), and I’m sure you’ll enjoy them! They are all very good and well written 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog! New follower via Bloglovin’!
