2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers

3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.

4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.

5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed

6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”

7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers

8. If you’re new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

I’ve been trying to be more organised with posting regularly lately, however i apologise because i’m definitely not being as good at replying to comments as i should be! So happy that term has finished, however it means that i’ve now got the dreaded easter to revise before exams in May, *gulp*. Hope everyone’s had a great week!

This Week’s Question is:

How have your reading habits changed in the past few years? Did you get interested in a new genre? Do you read more? Less? Why do you think your habits changed, if they did.

My reading habits have definitely changed in the last few years! Between starting uni in 2011 and up until this past summer around August (2013) i think i only read about a book a year. I just felt too busy and that i didn’t have time for reading whilst at uni. Ironically in my 3rd year, which should be harder than the last two, i started back up again. And i love it, reading after a long day in the labs (I study Chemistry) is the perfect way to wind down after lots of stressful events and even having this blog has helped me a lot this past year. I definitely read a lot more now, try and read maybe 3 books a week, however uni work can definitely get in the way of that and i’m slightly worried that when i do the ‘Masters’ year next year that i won’t have time for reading which will be sad. I’ve definitely become a lot more interested in the Dystopian genre as well, that may be due to the fact that there are so many more Dystopian books around nowadays, however i would say this is now one of my favourite genres so I’m really happy to have been introduced to it. If you have any other questions about my reading habits then please ask below, not really sure of what else to mention 🙂

Thanks for reading,

  1. Ever since I started blogging, I’ve found myself reading more! I’m more into contemporary romance right now, although I do read dystopian novels once in a while too. 🙂 Hope that despite your busy schedule you’ll still have time to read books! It’s an awesome de-stresser! Have a great weekend! 🙂
