COYER – End of (My) Week 1 and End of FiTS readathon

COYER

COYER (Clean Out Your E-Reader) is going to run from June 21st – September 5th 2014 and it’s about cleaning up your TBR pile during the summer. This year it is being hosted by Fantasy is More Fun and Because Reading is Better than Real Life so go check out the master posts on their blogs!

I’m really happy that i decided to start participating this week, i’ve had lots of fun and think i’ve read more books as a result!

So yesterday was the last day of the Fun In the Sun Readathon and it went slightly worse than i had hoped. I didn’t end up finishing Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke, however instead of not having enough time it was by choice. I really liked the writing style and a lot of things about the book and really thought it would be something i would love. However for whatever reason i just couldn’t force myself to continue reading. I will be posting a DNF review about it hopefully sometime this week, explaining my reasons a bit more clearly. This also means that i didn’t quite reach the 3 book goal that i set myself for the readathon, which is a shame. So overall my stats for this readthon were:

Books finished: 2

All My life Deep Blue

Books DNF: 1

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

Pages Read Day 1: 472

Pages Read Day 2: 86

Pages Read Day 3: 112

Pages Read Total: 650

Rest of Week Update

Before the readathon i managed to read a few other books this week, one was technically last Saturday and before i joined COYER, however as it’s been read during the official dates i’m counting it 🙂 I should hopefully be posting reviews of these in the near future as well!
