2015 Netgalley & Edelweiss Reading Challenge

NetgalleyEdelweissButton1

The 2015 Netgalley & Edelweiss Reading Challenge is hosted by Falling for YA.

So i just calculated that i need to read 41 books to get my Netgalley rating up to 80%. I definitely need this challenge to try and help motivate me to read and review all these books! I’m still not too sure on how to work Edelweiss (which is probably a good thing) otherwise i’m sure i’d have a bunch of books needing review there too!

The Challenge Guidelines are:

  • The challenge will run from Jan 1, 2015 – Dec 31, 2015.
  • Anyone is welcome to join. You do not need to be a blogger, just post your reviews and come back to Falling for YA every month to link them up.
  • Any genre, release date, request date, length, etc. counts so long as it came from Edelweiss or Netgalley.
  • At the beginning of each month there will be a roundup post for you to add your reviews.
  • If you forget to link up one month it’s not a problem just add your reviews next month.
  • If you would like to move up or down levels that is completely fine and at your discretion.
  • If you have any questions tweet @FallingForYA or e-mail Emisbookblog@aol.com!

The Levels you can aim for are:

Bronze – 10 Books
Silver – 25 Books
Gold – 50 Books
Platinum – 75 Books
Diamond –  100 Books

Im going to currently aim for Gold Level (as in 50 books) as i need to review pretty much that many to get my rating up! However i can see myself having to move up to Platinum due to still requesting too many, being auto approved just makes life harder as you can receive so many without really realising!

We’ll see how it goes! I’ll post a summary each month of what i’ve accomplished and if i’m staying on track. To reach 50 books in the 11 months left i need to read and review roughly 5 books a month. *Gulp*
