Book Budgeting

February 2015 – Book Budgeting

Book Budgeting

I realised this year that i have been spending way too much money on books, as a result i am trying to cut down on the amount i spend each month. I will be trying to get around this by finding innovative ways to buy cheap book and new releases that i still need to read! My current budget is around £20-£25 a month, trying to keep on the lower scale and we’ll see how this goes 🙂 In this post i’m only going to include books i have bought, not free ebooks or books for review. Let me know if you think i should change that!

January Total – £22.31 for 7 books

This works out to just over £3 per book, not too bad in my opinion! Also under the higher limit of the budget, though would prefer to be slightly lower if possible.

February Total – £18.09 for 6 books

e-books

Greta and the Goblin King by Chloe Jacobs – £0.29 (used £1 kindle credit from no rush prime delivery)

City in Embers by Stacey Marie Brown – £2.19

Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder – £0.99

physical books

The Glass Arrow by Kristen Simmons (Hardcover) – £10.21

The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury (Paperback) – £4.50

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard (Paperback) – £0.00 (used Waterstone points)
