Fanciful Cover Friday

Fanciful Cover Friday (2)

Fanciful Cover Friday is a weekly meme hosted here at Fanciful Fictions. Each week a new theme will be released and then it is our job to find our favourite covers based on the theme and share them with others.

This week’s theme is: GREEN

So i’m taking this to mean Green being the focal point of the cover, however if you want to do eco friendly books etc.. then please feel free! The theme’s are open to interpretation and i’m really interested to see where other people go with them!

1. Stolen Songbird by Sanielle L. Jensen

Stolen Songbird

I absolutely adore this cover, the green dress, the glass rose, the structures in the background. I even love the font. The cover drew me to this book immensely, however the story was also great so if you haven’t read it i’d recommend checking it out!

2. If I Die by Rachel Vincent

If i Die

I really like the green dress and wisps on the cover, the doodle style writing is also enjoyable. I’m less bothered about the awkward people reaching towards each each. I think i’d prefer the cover if it was just the girl in the dress, but we can’t have everything.

3. Envy by Gregg Olsen

Envy

This cover is a bit creepier, however i’m really liking the simplicity of it. It makes me want to know more about why the girl is in this tiny room alone in the bathtub and what happened to her. It definitely stands out and will make me remember the title.
