Fanciful Cover Friday (3)

Fanciful Cover Friday is a weekly meme hosted here at Fanciful Fictions. Each week a new theme will be released and then it is our job to find our favourite covers based on the theme and share them with others.

This week’s theme is: ROBOT/MACHINE

This one was quite a bit tougher than i originally anticipated. There are a few well known robot covers such as Cinder and Mila 2.0 that have been released fairly recently. However i wanted to try and show some of the covers that are less seen.

1. Eve & Adam by Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate

Eve and Adam

I really really like this cover. I really enjoyed the jigsaw of the apple and the metal parts incorporated in. I liked the simplistic design of the background and the incorporation of the binary numbers. I also really like retellings and have a feeling that this could be extremely interesting to read. We shall see ๐Ÿ™‚

2. Freak of Nature by Julia Crane

freak of nature

I got this book a while ago from Netgalley and the cover was definitely a large part of why i was interested in it. However i did also really enjoy the story and would really recommend anyone to check it out, it was a really quick read ๐Ÿ™‚

3. Revolution 19 by Gregg Rosenblum

Revolution 19

Ok, so this isn’t the most “robot-y” of covers. However i’m saying that her eye counts and its so striking! It just captures my interest and makes me want to know more about the book and the girl that’s on the cover. Also what exactly is happening in this world, the font style makes it seem slightly militaristic and that also seems very interesting.
